2007 Highlights:
We enjoy every single gig we play, but here are a few of our favourite memories from last year:

  • Sunday 17th June: The Wyverns Garden Party, Cambridge.
Quite possibly the most notorious drinking society in Cambridge (and there are a LOT of notorious drinking soc's in Cambridge!), the Wyverns made us very welcome.  We got a fab response from the 1500+ students, the only thing they seemed to enjoy more was the all-female jelly-wrestling... Funny, that.

  • Monday 18th June: Jesus College May Ball, Cambridge.
Performing on the Main Stage to kick-start the event, we warmed up the crowd ready for later performances by The Pigeon Detectives and I Was A Boyscout.  We also took full advantage of the free all-night champagne just as soon as our performance was over.

  • Friday 22nd June: Corpus Christi College May Ball, Cambridge. Performing on the Main Stage, we closed the night and played an AMAZING gig, with multiple encores, crowd invasions and the promise of a re-booking.  Bring it on!

  • Saturday 23rd June: Harper Adams University Summer Ball. Performing on the Main Stage halfway through the event, those farming students are probably the heaviest drinkers we've ever had the pleasure of gigging in front of!  Despite pouring rain, we stayed cosy and dry on a Glastonbury-sized covered stage while the crowds danced up a storm of their own.

  • Saturday 18th August: Wedding function, Great Rollright.
Playing in front of a great crowd of soldiers and civvies in a massive marquee, we had the unusual pleasure of a great DJ filling in between our sets - DJ Tony Spano.  Looking forward to working with you again in the future, Tone!

  • Sunday 26th August: Private function, IKEA, Ashton-Under-Lyne.
Mixing and matching to take a break from our usual tribute sets, we had a great laugh at the annual IKEA function - some of the staff wore fancy-dress costumes to rival our stage outfits!

  • Friday 14th December: The Bell & Barrel, St Helens.
Our first appearance in St Helens, Lucky Linc's birth-town!  This gig was also special because Rowdy Rob played his debut, filling in on lead guitar while regular guitar god Crazy Chris took over on the drums (did any of you know beforehand that Chris is as good on drums as he is on guitar?  Well, NOW YOU DO!)

  • Monday 31st December: The New Inn, Little Eaton.
New Year's Eve, a fine occasion for our first ever appearance in Derby!  Performing our Glam and RocknRoll tribute sets, we won over the locals and have been asked back.  Angry Adam was still performing high profile session gigs in Ireland, so after weeks of preparation Crazy Coop filled in on drums superbly.
